Geraniums have always reminded me of my mother and grandmother. Their fragrance and vibrant colors evoke cherished memories of my youth. In this painting, I explored texture and glazing techniques while indulging in the intricate details, such as the lace curtains. I have a deep fondness for these old cottages, which are sadly becoming increasingly rare as modern development encroaches upon these treasured pieces of land along the Atlantic coast.
