I love the effect I can achieve using @liquitexofficial masking fluid to block off a transparent glaze. Even though I can achieve a similar look without doing this, I find the even glaze sets an atmospheric mood that is very uniform and true to life for a dusky evening like this.
 
Frame option available, I have a hand built a maple frame for it ( unfinish in photo ) that can be stained or painted to fit your taste.
