20x20" carved basswood by @james_payne_woodworking_ and myself created this fun collaboration a while back and wanted to share. It was a blast to work with James as he is a creative talented woodworker based in Tennessee. Although I have never met him in person we have grown quite close over the summer and regularly pick each other's brains artistically. The mission behind this piece was to create something different that uses the skill sets we have been developing for many years individually and combine them.Lots of depth and relief, this peice would look awesome on a mantle!
