Making Tracks

This painting was inspired by a small field that was near my house in Danbury, CT. I would imagine seeing a coyote prowling through the snow on a warm late winter day. I loved the visual of the fog rising from the snow and the wet fresh snow clumped on the grasses and dead goldenrod. This type of scene last a very short time once the sun rises.
